Scoop Launches!!!

It's official, Scoop is here!!! The premiere issue of the new magazine for the School of Journalism and Electronic Media is in our hands and we could not be more proud of how it turned out. By now most of our alumni should have received their copy and we hope some of them stumble across this blog and weigh in with their thoughts on the magazine, though many of them already have on our surveys that went out with the issue.

But we have been so excited about the magazines coming in and so busy shipping them back out that we have almost completely forgotten to take a moment and celebrate our launch. But never fear, we have planned an amazing benefit/launch party for Tuesday, May 9. Check out the copy of the invitation for our "Black and White" Benefit. It's going to be a great night to reflect on our accomplishment and continue to spread all that wonderful Scoop goodness around to our many supporters. Food, drinks and much more are planned for this very special evening, as we all get a little classy in our best black and white attire. It will be the perfect way to cap off this semester and all the energy that went into the inaugural issue, and, at the same time, it will be a celebration and look toward the future of our magazine.
